I am asking anyone who knows Greek history well.

Greek religious meetings happened in temples. Greek religious adherents gatherings were called "hetaireiai" Greek politics largely took place at something called THE ASSEMBLY "he ekklesia" [HTML_REMOVED]

SO HOW IN THE WORLD DID THE WORD EKKLESIA COME TO BE USED STRICTLY IN ASSOCIATION WITH CHRISTIANITY ???????!!!!!!!

WHAT HAPPENED HISTORICALLY>????????

WHY DID CHRISTIANS SEE FIT TO USE THIS WORD IN RELATIONSHIP TO THEMSELVES (EKKLESIA)
