Do you know that Greek language holds an important place in the histories and what they influence for the future?

That is true. This is why the sky was described as "Galazio" meaning "the colour of milk". This issue is quite controversial, it is said that possibly the human iris developed sensitivity to this colour at a later date and that during Homer's time this colour was not visible in the electomagnetic spectrum to the human eye.

I have read that, before the time of Homer, there was no word in Ancient Greek for the colour 'blue'. Can anyone verify this for me? I am studying the history of colours for an Art Therapy course and was puzzled by this assertion. Can anyone help me?
