Athena simply because she is the shrewd companion of heroes and the goddess of heroic endeavour. She is the virgin patron of Athens, which built the Parthenon to worship her. She is well known to be the daughter of Zeus and is said to have an exclusivity to share powers with her father Zeus-came to be known as the very powerful god in greek myhtology. I chose Athena because she signifies the strength of women and the courage which entails victory.

Apollo - God of music, prophecies, poetry, and archery. Said to be the god of light and truth and associated with the sun. The most beautiful of the gods. He is Artemis's twin brother, and Son of Zeus. His symbols are: bow, lyre, and laurel.
Aphrodite - Goddess of love, lust, beautyand the wife of Hephaestus. Her lover is Ares and her son is Eros. The most beautiful of the greek goddesses. Her symbols are: sceptre, myrtle, and dove.

My favorite Greek god is Zeus- particularly because i find his stories (the tales regarding him) the most interseting. Greek mythology in general is wonderful, but Zeus's triumph over Cronus- I love reading about it. Yes, Zeus was a polygamist, but then again, he was marreid to Hera. It's not that i like him- but he's the most honorable, and i love reading about him. *Try Hesiod's Theogony. And paradielost- thank you for your email.
